Hey all! Well I am pretty excited to tell you that most of us have tickets! Theresa, Barb, Eric, and Myself all have tickets. They will be shipped out soon. Becca will be getting her's soon...This month she is moving. Here are some valuable links for you to check out.

1. Read the First Timer's Guide. I know it seems like a pain in the ass. But it isn't I assure you. You will find something you didn't know in there.

2. It is MANDATORY for being part of our camp for you to read the Event Survival Guide. They will be sending one out with our tickets...but you can read it early if you like.

3. In case you missed it here is a brief mission statement for our camp. It is Required!

NEWS -

- I have started to formulate a list of supplies needed for the camp. I will publish this list soon. Email me with anything you might need....we might have extras.

- I have received a list of 'Best Of' Awards from Barb and I have seen Becca's List. I need those lists in by the end of February. You all can make awards for anything you like...just get them to me. I want to start printing laminate awards in March.

- As plans go right now, we are leaving from San Francisco early morning August 30th and returning to San Francisco no later than September 8th. We may be back on the 7th but this should give you an idea of our scheduled days.

- Do you want a shower? Eric and my mom have both asked about a shower. It is pretty easy to set up. Theresa has a good design for one. If you guys would like a shower we need to have someone willing to set that up. It can be one of your contributions to our camp. I personally have never needed one...Baby wipes pretty much do the trick. But let us know so we can get you started with what you need.

- We have a Burning Man fund! Our camp budget is pretty high...we need to be raising money for it. This fund pays for some things we need as a camp...like.

- A SUV or Mini-Van Rental. (to get to Black Rock City and back)

- A Ryder Truck (to get all out gear to BRC and back)

- 2 Carports (shade for our camp and visitors)

- Gas Money

- One Hotel Room in Reno (get a shower on the way home)

- Labcoats and Scrubs (our camp's themes costumes)

- Water (Your own personal water is included in this cost)

- Gas for the Stove (some people will be sharing a camp stove)

- I am sure there is more to come....

As you can guess it is not that cheap to go to Burning Man...It is not expensive either...but we do have to raise some camp money.

Our camp has no enforced CAMP DUES....this mean people will have to contribute as they see fit and as they can. However I don't want to see just one person paying for everything....namely me! ha ha ha. So kick in when you can. Talk to you all later...Look for more updates soon.

Our camp will also not have enforced camp jobs...But that means we must all keep the place clean and volunteer to do things around the camp...like go get ice one day or collect MOOP. This way we can all be chill. If everyone kicks in no one person has to do it all.
